BLOCKING A USER:

People are not notified when you block them.

Messages

After you’ve blocked someone, your messaging threads with them will remain in your Direct Message inbox, but you won’t be able to message them. Your message send icon will show a lock and when you press it you can unblock the user that you have previously blocked.

If you’re in a group message with someone that you’ve blocked, you’ll get a dialogue asking whether you want to stay in the group or leave. If you choose to stay in the group, you’ll be able to see messages from the person you blocked in the group.

If the person you’ve blocked sends you any messages in Direct, you won’t receive those messages, and they won’t be delivered later if you unblock them.

After you’ve blocked someone, they won’t be able to join a trip that you created.

If you no longer want to block someone, you can unblock them.

REPORTING A USER:

People can report abusive behaviour or posts with our report function. This includes nude photos, abuse and excessive spam. Reporting is totally anonymous. No information about the reporter is sent to the person whose account or photo / content has been reported.

You can report abusive photos, videos and messages that are sent to you on Global Surf Club if you think that they go against our Private Policy and Code of Conduct Terms of Agreement. (hyperlink)
